Dr. Susan Leddick is a consultant in organization design and improvement. A former teacher, community college administrator, director of training for a state government project, and director of quality and productivity for a manufacturing firm, Susan has been active in the application of quality theory, practices, and tools for seventeen years. She is widely recognized as one of a handful of consultants in the nation who pioneered the translation of quality management methods from business to education. Owner of her own consulting business since 1991, she has cooperated during the past five years with Interact: The Institute for Interactive Management. In early 2000 she became a founding partner of Interact: The Center for Designing Interactive Systems.

In addition to her work with public schools and education agencies at local, state, and national levels, Susan has also consulted to car dealerships, manufacturing firms, hospitals and medical clinics, a trucking firm, a child care provider, and a variety of other kinds of organizations. The diversity of her experience shows in how she adapts general concepts readily to any setting.

Susan Leddick has helped clients to redesign established and to design new organizations, including
: the redesign in its 96th year of the oldest child care agency in the United States;
: the redesign of the entire service delivery process and organization structure of an Education Service Agency in the Midwest;
: the design of consortia, institutional partnerships, and associations (both regional and national);
: and the design of the customized training delivery system in a large technical college.

A frequent conference presenter in America and Canada and co-author of PQ Systemsí training series Total Quality Transformation (TQT), Susan served as an aide to Dr. W. Edwards Deming for nearly ten years. She owns her own consulting firm, heads the PKR Network (a group of some twenty associates who assist with projects), and is a founding partner with Jamshid Gharajedaghi in the Center for Designing Interactive Systems.

Susan Leddick holds the following degrees:
